We offer Land and Measured Building surveys both large and small
Davies Stephenson Partnership was founded in September 2012, following a restructure from the previously named David R Davies. We are a small independent Survey company based in rural Bedfordshire, just off the A6 halfway between Luton and Bedford. As well as serving our local area, we are in easy reach of both A1 and M1 and cover an area from London and the Southern Home Counties to Birmingham, Nottingham, and the whole of East Anglia. Current clients range from independent local architects to some of the leading and largest survey firms in the country.
We use modern technology such as Total Stations and digital levels in the field and make extensive use of computers in the office for survey calculations and production of the finished survey but underlying the use of this technology is many years of experience based on good sound surveying practice.
Who We Are
Started as a trainee surveyor with a firm of Chartered Land Surveyors in the 60’s and has been surveying ever since in every part of the UK, Ireland, West Africa, and the Middle East doing almost every type of survey work commonly undertaken, (and a few that aren’t very common). Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Civil Engineering Surveyors.
Followed a similar pattern by starting as a trainee with David in 2002. Gaining experience on site while learning the profession first hand, Nick attended the 2 year course at The Survey School in Worcester run by the The Survey Association and graduated in July 2006.
Previous projects range from several large London Underground stations, The British Museum and other famous landmarks around the City of London.
Currently going through the application stage of becoming a Member of the CInstCES.
Strategies & Plans
Every survey is unique. That’s why we customize every one of our surveys to fit your needs exactly. Whether it’s a small topographic survey or a large measured building, we’ll sit down with you, listen to your requests, and produce a survey you require.
